Do you work at the intersection of technology and design? Is your work hard to describe with existing disciplines and titles? Do you paint with code? Entangle bits and atoms? Envision better futures and prototype them in the present?
We are offering a Design Technology internship at our Above Studio in Malmö or Stockholm - starting in the spring of 2023. For the best experience on both sides, we prefer an internship duration of around 6 months. This is a great opportunity for you to develop your skills and get to know more about agency life! Also worth mentioning is that this is a paid internship.
What we offer / what you will do
As a Design Technologist intern, you will be a member of our interdisciplinary teams that create innovative solutions and great user experiences across digital & physical. We work with some of the world's most exciting clients on emerging technologies and new experiences. Our work ranges widely from smart home experiences to healthcare devices, to automotive spaces.

Here is a list of what you might be doing in a project:
Explore new product experiences across digital and physical in multidisciplinary teams
Bring ideas and concepts to life through prototypes
Build tools that enable teams to experiment on new experiences together
Prepare and support user testing sessions for new products
Skills & Requirements
Your background
We mostly work with consumer products - so you should be interested in the world of user experience design. A lot of our work is prototyping experiences that live across digital and physical - so you should have some experience with coding and perhaps one or two prototyping tools (Figma, ProtoPie, Unity, TouchDesigner..). Beyond that, this role will be shaped by you and us together. We are super curious to see what new facets you could add to our work.

An inspiring portfolio with solid conceptual thinking and applied technology
Good communication skills
Demonstrated skills in coding, electronics, robotics or another 'technological' field
Curiosity in working at the intersection of design x tech
