If you have work experience and interest in chassis layout for heavy trucks or buses and want to combine it with design work, you will find this role very attractive!
The work will include:
• Managing focus groups for solving complex layout issues for the whole section in development projects. Tight collaboration is needed with various design groups.
• Securing the new layout strategy, which enables a high degree of flexibility and specification width for our customers. Investigating consequences of suggested deviations from the strategy prior to formal approval at technical meetings.
• Educational session of the layout strategy within the R&D organisation.
• Design work which include i.e.;
• Tight cooperation with test engineers, production engineers and styling, taking your conceptual sketches to production-ready parts.
• Discussions and negotiations with suppliers on project plans and manufacturability.
• Creation of drawings, preparing reports and presentations, and effectively communicate your findings within various forums.
