We are looking for a Design Engineer to join our team at Technical Support. Your main responsibility will be to customize our products and support our Operating Units with how our products can add value to the customer in different applications. You will work in close cooperation with the product managers and be part of the early design phases, support in technical questions and handle the contact with suppliers. You will also be able to facilitate trainings and visit our customer globally and together with our customers find the best solution for them. You will be part of a team of four dedicated engineers.
Who are you?
• B.Sc. preferably in machine Engineering
• 3 years of relevant industrial or design experience
• Experienced in Solid Works/Inventor or similar CAD software
• Skilled in technical drawings
• Customer knowhow within automotive
• Machine/equipment design experience
• Knowhow in different materials characteristics
• Used to work in PDM/PLM
• Understanding of TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) and OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)
• English, both written and spoken
• Other languages is meritorious due to our global presence
As the ideal candidate, you have great communication and analytical skills. You enjoy working in a close cooperation with your colleagues both in Sweden and globally. Furthermore we see that you have the ability to explain design ideas and plans clearly and likes to work in a creative and problemsolving environment.
