The consultant is needed in order to be able to staff the planned/ongoing Engine Technology's
activities, such as technology development or development of engine demonstrators.
The position "Design Engineer - Parametric modelling" is for supporting the technology initiatives
Adaptive Manufacturing, Blade Repair and eventually also the work development of the Notional
Engine.
Role description
Contribute to the development of technologies for jet engine applications in the area of
design and definition at the GTC.
Create and modify parametric models of engine components or whole engine in Siemens
PLM (Teamcenter) and NX.
Create CAD models based on component GOM data.
Support concept development (of engine components) with CAD modelling.
Publiceringsdatum2021-07-06KvalifikationerRequired competence
Knowledge and experience of CAD/PLM tools (Siemens TeamCenter and NX).
Experience in working with parametric models for complex structures.
Experience in NX-programming and in creating or morphing CAD models based on GOM data
is desirable.
Good communication skills and proficient in English.
Previous experience of working at GKN Aerospace is desirable.
