As Deployment Project Manager at Vironova you will run new installation and upgrade projects together with a team of specialists. This includes setting up and monitoring project plans, deadlines, schedules for deployments, maintenance, and service; and serve as liaison with other departments and partners to ensure customer project success. You report to Delivery Manager.

You will
The role entails the following responsibilities for each project:
• Plan and drive deployment projects (externally and internally)
• Maintain action item lists for all projects, ensuring assignments are clearly communicated and due dates held
• Manage purchasing and logistics in connection with deployments, service and maintenance matters.
• Together with the customer, identify pre-conditions/needs
• Monitor and report on status, project risks, deviations and changes
• Proactively track timelines and alerts for key project deliverables including reports
• Manage and plan internal resources and collaborate with field engineers, developers, application specialists and sales reps to ensure project success
• Ensure that all work towards the customer takes place according to established routines and with set quality goals
• Summarize the delivery in a final report, coordinate retrospective and ensure that the project is delivered correctly to the customer and sales / internal customer support
• Continuously identify and drive improvements in our delivery processes / work routines
What you need to succeed
We believe you need to have previous experience of establishing budgets and leading deployment projects of complex systems containing both software and hardware, preferably from the Life Science, Bio/Medtech or Materials & Chemistry industry.
You have minimum 2 years of Project Management experience and knowledge of project management tools and methodologies. It is also beneficial if you have experience of:
• JIRA: administration, issue management, Service Desk
• IT infrastructure and security, SQL Server management, Remote access
• Microsoft Windows 10, MS Office
• Configuration / Change / Non conformance management
• Logistics
As a person you need to be structured and methodical with a proactive and flexible mindset. You are service and business minded, have good communication skills and are customer-oriented and humble in all dialogue.
You are skilled at presenting and getting "buy-in" on thoughts/ideas. You have a consultative approach and act as an advisor for customers and feel comfortable in new contacts and to handle objections.
Your educational background is a Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering or related field.
