The IT department of Arvato Financial Solutions Nordics is a support function that contributes to the company's success by providing the organization with well-functioning systems and secure server solutions. The IT organization is located in various countries, in Sweden 20 employees are placed in Varberg,

We are looking for a database developer to our business area Collection

Our database developers are responsible for maintenance, administration and development of our collection software in the Nordics.

We work in tight cooperation with our Nordic colleagues in developing exciting new features and supporting the processes with focus on continuously improving our results. In order to be even more successful we need you to come on board to strengthen our team on integrations, data analysis and process optimizations.

As part of our team, you will work closely with the business, which means possibility to have a direct cause and effect view on solutions, which are as varied as our clients and internal demands. Common tasks include solution design, creating new automations as well as integrations, advanced reports and diagnostics of system failures. We love to automate and our aim is to automate and start working on the next shiny thing.

The IT department currently holds 20 people split in three teams placed Varberg, but are planning to increase the number of skilled IT-resources within the upcoming years.

Your ticket to the ride

In order for you to feel comfortable and succeed in this role, we know you have to have some years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL and programming. We work with varied type of solutions depending on client needs, which means that having a broad knowledge within IT is more important than depth. Great communication skills are required, and handling small talk (not the programming language) about other things than technology, it is a bonus.
