In alignment with the growing targets and needs, we are currently on the lookout for a dedicated database administrator to become part of our tight-knit DBA team.
The Cutting Edge Team
Other departments place a large amount of trust in the DBA team, which allows us to drive improvements, initiatives and ideas, while still working towards clear goals in close cooperation with our stakeholders. We change, improve and integrate operations and development on a daily basis.
Our team partners with external MySQL gurus and we report our progress to these stakeholders. So not only do we work on cutting edge technology, but as a Database Administrator, you will have access to team members with strong competencies. Working with us entails access to resources - we invest in knowledge - and great professionals to help you grow in your role.
About The Role
As a Database Administrator in our team, your main responsibility will be the stability and performance of our production application.
Together with the rest of the team members you will maintain, monitor and develop our database environments in a way that makes it possible for our company to continue to grow.
We work with cutting edge MySQL technology like InnoDB cluster, Singlestore, SQL Server, Hadoop, ScyllaDB and Couchbase.
We also help developers with their projects and test environments as well as pushing the changes into production. Since we are growing rapidly we need to automate our work, and most of the automation is done with shell scripting.
Requirements
Solid understanding of Database Administration
Experience administering MySQL databases
Good Linux experience
Good Shell scripting knowledge
Disaster Recovery (DR) knowledge and understanding
Meritorious
Experience administering SQL Server
Experience administering Hadoop
Experience administering Singlestore
Docker experience
Git experience
