Data & Analytics Engineering is currently in the process of creating specialized teams dedicated to Data Engineering & Data Infrastructure, Analytics Engineering, and Data Management.About the role:
As a Data Quality Engineer, you will be an integral member of the Data Management team, playing a significant role in enhancing the organization's data quality. You will collaborate closely with various departments across the bank, proactively safeguarding the quality of the organization's most valuable asset: data.
Main tasks:
Take the lead in defining, implementing, and executing data quality rules and data management processes.
Own the access management policies, rules and implementation across the data platforms.
Build efficient data pipelines, transform and integrate data, design data models, ensure data quality in the pipeline and maintain security and compliance.
Take operational responsibility on resolving data quality issues, improving data quality, transparency, data privacy, and regulatory compliance across the organization
Act as the key stakeholder from the Data Analytics Engineering team in charge of providing regulatory reporting deliverables and data extracts, as well as responding to the internal and external audit requests
Establish a close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Analytics, Risk, Finance and IT to ensure business data needs are covered while encouraging and implementing data governance policies, procedures, and standards
Guide and support downstream data consumers with expertise on data and guide and support data consumers in data consumption activities.

We are looking for you who have:
Familiarity with data governance, data quality principles and data lifecycle
Experience working with data quality metrics, data management tools and profiling techniques
Proficiency in ETL/ELT (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data logic, along with an understanding of how data is sourced, transformed, and presented to data users
Experience with working both in on-premise and cloud environments, preferably with the Microsoft data stack (SQL, Power BI, Azure etc.)
Relevant academic degree, preferably in engineering or other analytical discipline
Good knowledge in English and good understanding of Swedish and/or Norwegian language

Experience in any of below is considered a plus:
Data management under GDPR (data retention, data privacy and data transparency)
Experience with data roles within the financial sector, or other regulated industry
Familiarity with setting up and managing role-based access groups roles and permissions, preferably in Azure
Working with regulatory requirements, e.g. providing regulatory deliverables in forms of data extracts, working with specifications etc.
Experience of agile/scrum methodologies.
