To strengthen our capability to leverage the data to inform our marketing strategies and personalize the consumer experience, the Consumer Analytics team, part of European Central Marketing organization, is looking for a Consumer Data Engineer to join the team.
As a Consumer Data Engineer at Electrolux, you will deliver cutting-edge analytics services to our business stakeholders across the consumer journey - from attraction to conversion and loyalty - enabling fact-based decisions and strategies, and tracking progress towards set KPIs and ROIs.
You will proactively support the digital marketing community with relevant use cases based on your deep analytical knowledge and experience from consumer-centric industries. You generate insights that help Electrolux better understand the consumer, expand reach, decrease cost of acquisition, increase consumer engagement and advocacy and ultimately drive sales. By analyzing data about our consumers' individual needs and expectations, from unknown to known, you are also expected to identify audiences and segments through consumer profiling to make our marketing efforts more relevant and personalized.
In this role, you are part of a team that informs the Electrolux digital strategy and provides the factual basis for future consumer experiences and touchpoint development. You will report to the European Head of Consumer Analytics, and apart from your closest colleagues in the Consumer Analytics team, you will collaborate with representatives across the extended Marketing team.
Key areas of responsibilities
§ Understand a problem statement, design and implement analytical solutions & techniques along with Consumer Data Scientist and Business Analyst
§ Work with business stakeholders and business analyst to collect, cleanse and transform data for exploratory analysis
§ Set up datamart(s) to push continuous updates with incremental data
§ Build and / or lead lead discussions on data models in data lake (e.g. star or snowflake)
§ Conduct data profiling analysis and help business identify and prioritize use cases
§ Transform and feature engineer data in collaboration with Consumer Data Scientist to build Machine Learning based solutions around Consumer Segmentation & Targeting, Propensity Modeling, Churn Modeling, Lifetime Value Estimation, Forecasting, Recommender Systems, Modeling Response to Incentives, Marketing Mix Optimization, Media effectiveness

Required experience
Must have
§ 3-5 years of experience in data engineering
§ Mandatory database programming experience in using any flavors of SQL and Python, Scala or R is an advantage
§ Experience in building data integration, data pipelines, data streams and data transformation
§ Database programming using any flavours of SQL
§ Expertise in relational and dimensional modelling, including big data technologies
§ Exposure across all the SDLC process, including testing and deployment
§ Expertise in Microsoft Azure is mandatory including components like Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL, Azure DataBricks, HD Insights, ML Service etc.
§ Good understanding of how to enable analytics using cloud technology and ML Ops
§ Experience in Azure Infrastructure and Azure Dev Ops will be a strong plus
§ Fluent in English, both writing and speech.
Nice to have
§ Experience with any visualization tool like PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau
§ University Degree in Computer Science. Please apply in English.
