This Position reports to: Real Estate Manager.
Your role and responsibilities
At ABB Robotics, we help industries become leaner and cleaner. As Local Real Estate Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring that our Swedish operations have the right premises at the right time and in the right place. This is your opportunity to combine strategic planning with hands-on execution in a dynamic, global organization.
In this role, you will manage ABB Robotics' real estate portfolio in Sweden and neighboring countries, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and alignment with business needs. You will work closely with local and global stakeholders to deliver sustainable, cost-effective solutions that support our growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Alignment: Develop and implement real estate strategies for Sweden and neighboring countries, ensuring premises meet business requirements and support future growth.
Portfolio & Asset Management: Maintain an up-to-date inventory of our real estate assets and identify opportunities for space optimization and consolidation.
Financial Oversight: Manage real estate budgets and costs, ensuring efficiency and alignment with corporate financial goals.
Governance & Compliance: Ensure all real estate activities comply with ABB standards, local regulations, and internal approval processes.
Sustainability & Workplace Innovation: Drive initiatives that promote sustainable solutions and modern workplace concepts in line with ABB's ESG goals.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience in corporate real estate, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments.
Proven expertise in negotiating leases and purchase/sale agreements.
Strong financial and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience managing complex projects and translating technical topics for diverse audiences.
Fluent in Swedish and English (spoken and written).
Ability to travel within Sweden and neighboring countries as required.
