To support this, we're now looking for an experienced Corporate Communications Business Partner with an interest and curiosity for both strategic and hands-on communication. Your new team
The Sandvik Group Communications team is set up by highly skilled professionals and are responsible for developing both internal and external communication and strategies - ensuring delivery of our company strategy, employee engagement and an attractive brand and consistency across the Group's channels. So, what's the job all about?
In this role, you get to work with our company strategy communication as well as communication strategies and plans in our Human Resource environment. You support our HR function in improving the employee experience, including all elements within. With a strategic starting point, you plan and implement communication activities - everything from writing global management news and sharing corporate information on relevant channels to drive communication in the area of HR.
As you lead the communication work for our HR matters, your mission includes supporting the function with communication needs on their behalf. Some of them need your competence and advice on a more strategic level, while other functions require support in producing texts, posters, making interviews and analyzing employee surveys. You support in hands-on execution, with a strong focus on creating excellent communication towards each target group. By using a large variety of communication channels, you create innovative, high-quality deliverables in a timely manner. Other areas of responsibility are crisis communication, training, and event management. The role is truly varied, and you're the one prioritizing and leading the activities in close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
You work in close collaboration with highly skilled communications professionals and report to the Vice President and Head of Corporate Communications and Brand at Sandvik Group, and you are a member of Sandvik Group HR Management Team.
Where's the office?
You're based at the Sandvik Headquarters in Stockholm, and presence at our other offices in Sweden (Sandviken) is frequently required. Some national and international travel may also occur.
Your character
We're looking for an experienced communicator with a degree in communication, journalism or with the corresponding skills and training. You have extensive experience within a similar position and are used to cooperating with different kinds of people, both by cultural background and by profession. You have a curiosity of the HR world and are eager to develop within the field - you master many collaboration tools and learn to use new systems swiftly and easily. At Sandvik, Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint and Teams are essential platforms for how we communicate and collaborate. Excellent communication skills in verbal and written English and Swedish are required.
We're genuinely interested in your collaborative and easy-going mindset and your strong integrity. You have a strategic mindset that you use in alignment with your operational work. By being the definition of a doer, you stay focused and creating great results even in times of multiple parallel assignments with tight deadlines. Your solid time management skills tell you what to prioritize - when and why - from the gut. Last but not least, you have an ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels - easily adjusting your approach to suit the audience.
