We are currently looking for an engaged, driven and experienced individual to join us as our Chief Operating Officer or COO and oversee our organisation's ongoing operations, growth and procedures.

The COO role is a key member of the senior management team, reporting only to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). You will be the company's number two in command and will be responsible for the efficiency of business operations. You will ensure that we are able to grow our stakeholders and customers reach while helping us scale the start-up using your refreshing ideas, leadership and people skills. As we grow, you will help with recruitment and so forth.

In addition, you will be required to help build on current partner relations together and assist on strategy and execution, while helping determine the optimal use of the company's resources. If you have excellent work and business acumen, we'd like to meet you.

Role Responsibilities

- Lead employees to encourage and develop maximum performance and dedication
- Coordinate HR functions such as recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new staff
- Identify and help with bookkeeper and accounting when needed
- Participate in the creation of company financial projections and reporting systems
- Evaluate performance by analysing and interpreting data and metrics
- Help define operational, financial, and marketing KPIs and work to create and adjust appropriate reporting systems
- Assist CEO in fundraising ventures
- Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.)
- Write and submit reports to the CEO in all matters of importance
- Other projects and duties, as assigned


Your Profile (Previous experience with):

- Previous experience in a high-velocity digital start-up
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Swedish
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills In English
- Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
- 2+ years in the role of a senior operations leader
- BSc/BA in or relevant field (MSc/MBA is a plus) degree (e.g. in Finance, Engineering or Business Administration)
- Firm understanding of business financials, budgets etc.
- Excellent project management skills balancing multiple projects and competing priorities
- Experience developing, implementing and achieving KPIs
- Demonstrated facility with project management tools, automated marketing applications, and social media platforms
- Track monthly and quarterly financial metrics for senior management and board of directors
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders
- Exemplary standards of quality, accuracy, and timeliness
- Working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure (MS Office, Google Apps, SQL)
