The MD Organization is a part of the Chassis and Cab Production within Scania.
By taking care of local industrial activities, MD offers Scania's Business Units the opportunity to focus on their core business. MD is responsible for the assembly plants, (called Regional Product Centres RPC), in Africa, Asia and Russia.
MD also supports and coordinates other activities connected to the RPCs.
Appointment
We are currently looking for a business controller, stationed in Södertälje.
In this position you will have the main responsibility for some of our RPCs.
Job Description
You will be responsible for all common financial reporting for some of the RPCs, such as book closing, projection, investments, KPIs, etc. The controller will work closely with the local controllers and the RPC managers. The RPCs are currently situated in Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, South Africa, Russia and India.
The position includes a great variety in ad-hoc investigations connected to our Regional Product Centres or activities in other areas. You will independently handle financial related issues and support/challenge the development of the RPCs.
Continuous improvements of our administrative processes is always an important part of the daily work for the financial team.
Job Requirements
We think that you have an adequate university degree and some years of working experience. You are comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment with a high number of ad-hoc investigations ongoing in parallel to our basic processes.
You are positive, open-minded and have the ability to work with people from other cultures.
Your personal qualities are: Accountability, analytic capacity and an energetic attitude.
It is also valuable if you have working experience from a manufacturing company and some experience of product calculation.
