Stockholm Environment Institute is a dynamic, expanding work place that employs around 90 people from 28 different nationalities in an activity-based office in central Stockholm (Garnisonen), and with an additional 140 employees in centres around the world.The roleWe are recruiting a Controller to SEI Headquarters in Stockholm. The successful candidate will be part of the finance team in Stockholm which currently consists of seven people, and will be reporting directly to SEI's Financial Director.The successful candidate will focus on developing and supporting processes and tools for financial analysis and reporting in order to support the strategic development of the institute. This will include financial reporting and forecasting, but also innovations in the area of resource planning, as well as development of appropriate KPIs. You will work closely with line management as well as project managers.The position also entails a project controller function for the largest funding program of SEI (around SEK 50 million/year). This role will include guidance within project budget development as well as monitoring and reporting of financial progress.Key duties and responsibilitiesDeveloping tools for financial analysis and reporting, linked to SEI ERP system Unit4 Business World (Agresso)Development of processes for resource planningDevelopment and reporting of KPIsProject financial controlling of the largest funding program of SEIWho you areWe are looking for a candidate with an academic business degree and with at least 3 years of relevant experience from working with financial processes, budgeting and reporting. As a person you possess excellent analytical skills and have an interest in and ability to build appropriate systems for financial monitoring. You will need to master MS Excel at a proficiency level and you are fluent in Swedish and English.As this role requires collaboration with key project stakeholders, we are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal- and communication skills. You are able to deliver according to deadlines and have the ability to build trustful relationships in the organization.Required qualifications and experienceAcademic business degreeMinimum 3 years of relevant experience from working with financial processes, budgeting and reportingExperience of ERP systems in general, and Unit4 (Agresso) in particularFamiliarity with internal control procedures and business workflowsKnowledge and experience in MS Excel at a proficiency levelFluency in Swedish and English is a mustOther desirable qualificationsExperience of business intelligence systemsExperience of working in a knowledge based project organization or consultancyExperience working in an international contextHow to applyWe are reviewing applications on an ongoing basis so please submit your application as soon as possible, however no later than April 23 2019, 23:59 Stockholm local time.
