Job description
You will work in the client's Sourcing function in a team of Contract Managers and Sourcing Responsibles. Your role will focus on contract management and procurement activities towards a variety of vendors covering small to medium size contracts. You will be an important team player supporting the client's different tech deliveries, with sourcing capabilities over time.
As a Contract Manager and Procurement lead you play a key role as the link between the clients vendors and their delivery teams. You will be responsible for contracts and lead procurements related to new and changed IT deliveries. In your role, you will have the opportunity to work with many stakeholders as well as vendors. We are looking for an experienced Contract Manager with experience from IT purchasing of complex development and maintenance projects globally. To be able to fully perform the specified work tasks, the Contact Manager will work both independently and in close collaboration with other contract managers, sourcing responsible, project managers, vendors and other stakeholders.
Work Tasks
As a Contract Manager you will
Lead and support the contract lifecycle work
Lead and support commercial discussions and contract issues with vendors and ensure cost control and risk balancing together with stakeholders
Lead contract negotiations
Manage contractual and commercial risks and to ensure the client's and the supplier's compliance with the agreement
Act as procurement lead
Managing communication and relationship internally and with our vendors
Establish and lead vendor governance models as part of vendor integration activities Specific Competence
Experiance of IT purchasing of complex development projects globally
Experience of leading complex negotiations
Legal3 competence
Very Good at expressing yourself verbally and in writing in both English and Swedish
Good understanding of tech development and maintenance, distributed globally Tools Competence Tools/Software
Standard Office software Additional
Has a positive mindset and conveys trust.
Has very good communication skills and is fluent in both Swedish and English * Enjoys working in a fast pace and is open-minded to changes
Are driven in your work and acting prestige less
Team player
Good social skills and knows when to be decisive and when to be pragmatic
Comes with own suggestions and ideas on improvements and bring these up for discussion within the team in a timely manner
Focuses on ensuring ways of working that supports the whole team
