Avalanche Studios self publishing unit is looking for an enthusiastic Community Manager to work on our self-published titles - including theHunter Classic, theHunter: Call of the Wild, Generation Zero as well as future titles.

The Position
We are looking to expand the team with a passionate Community Manager who wants to take care of our fast growing, dedicated community. Currently we manage more than 8 million players in our online worlds - something we are very proud of!

Your main responsibilities will be managing engagement and interactivity with our players through social media marketing as well as fostering community spirit and act as a liaison between players and development team.

To fit our needs you need to be a well-organized, strategic and creative person with many ideas. Since we're a lean team each role comes with a lot of responsibility and a lot of creative freedom, so we expect you to be autonomous and a quick learner. This position is part of the Marketing department and reports directly to the Head of Marketing.

Responsibilities
Engagement - Engage our community of millions of users via our forum, blog, live stream, social media channels and other available platforms
Feedback - Collect, organize and escalate community feedback to the stakeholders within the dev team to ensure community-driven game development
Evangelization - Act as an advocate of Avalanche Studios and Expansive Worlds in the community. Engage in dialogue and answer questions (where appropriate)
Support - Help and assist the passionate community through email, social media channels, and forum discussions
Events - Plan, create and execute competitions, campaigns and events to increase retention and drive sales
Moderator Management - Assist and guide the community/forum moderators
Analytics - Identify and report on key metrics demonstrating community health.
Strategy - Work on long term community and content strategies
Be a Personality - Be confident in front of a camera and able to think on your feet during live streams to our fans.

Required Qualifications
At least 3+ years of community management and/or social media management experience
Enormous comfort level in communicating online - must be hands-on
Experience with forum management and moderation
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
Good knowledge of all main social media platforms
Strong organizational skills
Team player that's reliable, self motivated and proactive
Passionate about video games

Desired Qualifications
Previous experience from community management within the video games industry
Basic Photoshop skills
Additional language(s) on a native level
Interested in hunting and the outdoors
