For our client in the Automotive industry we are looking for a Communication Strategist with a focus on Sustainability. This is a temporary full-time assignment for 10 months, based in their office in Gothenburg.

About the role:

You will be part of a small, high performing, team which aims at accelerating the purpose agenda, internally and externally. This global team manages areas such as action-orientated purpose campaigns, Employer Branding, sustainability communication, increasing the voice of the company in relevant cultural days and events, and nurturing meaningful collaborations.

As a Communication Strategist, Sustainability, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Launch social impact fund across all channels and with all key audiences in Spring '24

• Deliver impactful cultural day campaigns.

• Collaborate with Stakeholder Engagement team on advocacy initiatives, on topics incl. ocean health.

• Driving the development and implementation of compelling evidence-based narratives, global campaigns, stories, and messages, that create engagement around sustainability journey and industry leadership, across all global channels, and drive progress.

• Strengthening employee engagement and build the brand to the key external audiences (future and current customer, talent, and stakeholder) through media, influencers and other third parties.

• Working collaboratively both internally and externally, building strong relationships with stakeholders and supporting them with high level sustainability communication guidance and actions.

• Working with business priorities and planning, as well as proactively identifying newsworthy communication opportunities, and develop engaging, meaningful, and creative sustainability communication strategies.

• Working with internal communications on strategies to foster employee engagement, alignment with business objectives, and a strong sense of belonging.

Who are you?

You are a devoted and creative communications or marketing professional with 8-10 years' experience from a global organization, including experience of sustainability-related communications. You have a natural passion for news, communication, and engaging sustainability communication. You have extensive experience in PR, social media, and/or journalism and a demonstrable ability to utilize different channels and mobilization to deliver the desired business outcome.

In addition to this, you have:

• A strategic, analytical, and creative approach to communication planning, is self-led and has the ability to manage a wide range of projects and agencies, balancing quality, and speed.

• A strong understanding of current and emerging global sustainability issues and challenges and the ability to relate them to business action.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English), with the ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging messages for diverse audiences.

• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to involve and balance stakeholders and agencies and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• A natural collaborator with a strong ability to build good working relationships with stakeholders and internal colleagues.

• The ability to bring clarity to complex situations and interpret in-depth business and technology messaging in a receiver-friendly way.

About the assignment

For this assignment you will be hired as a full-time consultant by Digitalenta. We offer our consultants a generous package including healthcare allowance, insurance policy, paid vacation days and pension savings. In addition, you'll also have a dedicated consultant manager available throughout your employment with us, in addition to optional networking activities with our network of consultants.

The assignment is full-time and for a period of 10 months, with possible extension.
