About this opportunity
Welcome to Business Development & Offering, a Nordic team that is responsible for ensuring that Business Banking Nordea has the best possible customer value propositions and executes upon its commercial strategy. We drive large scale, high impact initiatives, typically working across functions and markets.
As the Commercial Strategy Manager, you will play a key role in developing our Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy meaning your work will have direct tangible impacts on the future of Business Banking.
What you will be doing:
* Stay on top of market performance through analysis of market data, translating insights into data-based decision making and actions that drive growth and profitability
* Take lead in shaping and supporting the implementation of Nordea Business Banking's go-to market approach
* Analyse commercial performance and derive insights contributing to target setting, and collaborate with front line and product specialists to develop commercial strategies
* Work with data and stakeholders across Nordea to identify new growth opportunities which will improve our business and ensuring a relevant customer offer is in place
* Support overall Business Banking strategy development

You'll join an international team of ambitious and enthusiastic professionals that are always willing to offer support, sparring, feedback and sharing best practices with you. The role can be based in any of the Nordic capitals. The role will report to the Head of Business Development and Offering.

Your experience and background:
* Direct experience in defining sales and/or commercial strategy within a large organisation (or as a Management Consultant)
* Hands on experience in a Go-To-Market (GTM) operational role (e.g. Sales Strategy, Revenue Operations, Marketing Operations)
* Knowledgeable about the latest Sales & CRM strategies
* Competence in leveraging data to derive insights that drive business improvement, preferably including experience with SQL/ Python (or strong willingness to learn)
* Proven ability to lead the delivery of complex cross-functional commercial change projects
* Financial services experience is meriting
* Master's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
* Excellent written and spoken English skills
