About the role:
Within the Product Sourcing Operations team, the position of Director Commercial Sourcing Small Domestic Appliances and Consumable and Accessories is key to ensure short-term and long-term business objectives are achieved for the SDA and C&A business.
The position will lead a team comprising of Senior Sourcing Managers, Sourcing Managers and Buyers to source all SDA and C&A products across the region for all Electrolux business entities in the Electrolux Group.
This position will also have the overall responsibility for the Plant in Nygard, Sweden.
This position reports into the Head of Product Sourcing and will be a member of the PSO Leadership Team (PSOLT).
What you'll do:
• You will be an integral member of the PSOLT, responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies, processes for Global based supply, while actively supporting the operational and organizational development of PSO.
• Actively contribute to the development of the strategic sourcing vision for SDA and C&A Products within scope in conjunction with stakeholders from Consumer Experience (CX), Consumer Direct Interaction (CDI) and Business Areas.
• Ensure delivery of sourcing plans against plans, regular supply market reviews and sourcing strategy reviews, including providing support and direction to various Sourcing projects.
• You will be responsible for annual target setting and follow up.
• Development & Maintenance of strategic relationships with key suppliers, and internal business and functional stakeholders.
• Securing and maintenance of Contracts with Global based Finished Product suppliers within scope.
• Establish current and long-term objectives and set adequate future plans, including the development of Suppliers to meet Group requirements for Cost, Quality, Delivery Reliability, Product Development and improvement, Code of Conduct, Sustainability and Environmental Compliance.
• Ensure a high level of ongoing supplier performance relative to Project Implementation, Quality and Demand Flow supporting the functional teams as required.
• You will ensure delivery of sourcing plans against Sector and Global Product Board plans, regular supply market reviews and sourcing strategy reviews, including providing support and direction to Sector Sourcing projects.
• Ensure the professional development of team members encompassing the technical, managerial, and interpersonal skills necessary for everyone to perform their job and to potentially assume greater responsibility.
• To ensure the right setting and execution of the digital roadmap by aligning specific unit's targets and Group operations digital strategy as well as promoting the digital transformation process as a key driver of Operational Excellence

Qualifications:
• Degree in Engineering or Business with a relevant technical equivalent, with at least 10 years people management experience, working in Purchasing or Operational Supplier management area or equivalent. Firsthand experience in strategic supplier relationship management is an added advantage.
• Relevant background and experience within the white goods or consumer appliance industry.
• Strong working knowledge and experience within the areas of Quality systems, Demand Flow and Change Management plus a good working knowledge in Commercial Sourcing contracts.
• Must have a proven track record in delivering results, driving change, with a can-do attitude and ability to visualize and drive completion of projects to support the continued development of the Organization.
• Able to work effectively with different levels of stakeholders, in a high paced and diverse, Global business environment.
• Passionate about growth of business as well development of talents, continuously improves to build core capabilities, managing and motivating a team, including direct reports, peers and external counterparts.
• Excellent communicator in English is critical, ability to communicate in Chinese is an advantage.
• Willing to travel within China, Asia, and EU with frequent international long-haul travel.
