About us
The aftermarket business is fundamental to Volvo Cars' profit and customer satisfaction. At Cars Service Commercial, in the Car Service Business organization, we drive profitability and develop commercial offers in the aftermarket space.
The automotive aftermarket is transforming, both technically and commercially. Electrification, connected vehicles, increased competition and new direct and online business models are putting new requirements on the business. To succeed in the new competitive landscape, Car Service Business needs to develop new offers, sales channels, and business models. Your responsibility will be to support this transformation with advanced analytics and lead specific cross functional initiatives and tasks.

Commercial Business Developer - this is what you'll do
As a Commercial Business Developer, you will be a key enabler to continue growing the aftermarket business and maintaining our strong position in the current commercial transformation. Your contributions will be essential in order to challenge, plan, measure and monitor efficiency and success of different business activities. This is a high-impact role offering an opportunity to lead strategically important projects, provide the business with critical view of its performance, and advise the aftermarket leadership globally.

You will also:
• Identify potentials for various business areas, business models and stakeholders (e.g. VCC, regions, markets, retailers)
• Lead or help drive strategically important cross-functional projects to prepare our business for the future. You will work closely with several teams within Volvo Cars commercial aftermarket but also with our regions and markets.
• Support business and product owners as well as regions in target setting, revenue and profit analysis.
• Lead projects and support stakeholders with business cases and data driven analytics.
• Support the yearly business plans with in-depth analysis of strategic revenue drivers.

You and your skills
• Proven ability to do complex evaluations which include data analysis, e.g. understand potential for a new customer offer (e.g. target group, revenue potential and evaluating correct pricing).
• You have experience from leading projects, and it is meritorious if you have management consulting experience.
• Good communication skills and fluent in English (verbal and written).
• Commercial aftermarket experience is beneficial.
• BSc degree, MBA/MSc is beneficial.

Competence and skills are important, but personality is key, hence you have a high motivation with a positive attitude and like working with others to reach common goals.
You have business acumen mind-set and can explain complex business concepts in a simple manner.
