About the Assignment
You will take a key role in a complex defense project where multiple sensors, subsystems and combat system components must come together as one reliable system-of-systems solution. In this position, you are responsible for the functional and info-logical interfaces across the combat system and for making sure the integrated solution delivers the required performance and capabilities.
You work closely with the Technical Project Manager and act as the main point of contact for combat system integration. The role spans requirement definition, system and solution design, planning, coordination and follow-up, with close collaboration across engineering teams, suppliers and customers. Job DescriptionYou lead the functional and info-logical interfaces between subsystems and components within the combat system.
You drive the overall combat system integration activities and ensure alignment with required performance and functional capabilities.
You develop and maintain the system integration plan together with the Technical Project Manager and other stakeholders.
You coordinate and participate in integration activities, identify issues early and help resolve them with a strong delivery focus.
You lead a small team of CSI engineers, prioritize work and support the successful execution of integration tasks.
You translate required capabilities into clear and verifiable requirements for integration activities.
You collaborate closely with customers, suppliers and integrated project teams throughout the project.
RequirementsDegree in Engineering, or equivalent.
Experience working with integration at system-of-systems level.
Experience with system or solution design.
Experience working in integrated project teams.
Strong planning skills, structure and attention to detail.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Strong written and spoken English.
Ability to work proactively, manage parallel activities and take responsibility for delivery.
Ability to pass security clearance (requires Swedish citizenship, dual citizenship not permitted)
Nice to haveExperience from the naval domain or defense industry.
Experience with naval combat systems.
INCOSE based Systems Engineering experience.
Experience in technical and solution trade-off analyses.
Swedish and additional languages.
