Job description
As a Clinical Study Manager you will coordinate clinical studies conducted on our medical and in vitro diagnostic devices around the world.
You will be responsible for planning, executing and reporting of the studies according to applicable regulatory requirements and company SOPs. Your main duties will include preparation of study protocols, start-up activities at study sites, obtaining ethical and regulatory approvals, study monitoring and reporting of results. To ensure efficient and timely conduct of studies you will manage an internal global study team consisting of colleagues from R&D, Regulatory and Business. You may also be coordinating studies through CRO companies. You will also have an opportunity to represent Clinical Affairs in product development teams and join in developing our internal clinical study management procedures.
You will report to Leader of Global Clinical Affairs. The work will involve travelling, mostly in Europe.
Qualifications
The successful candidate should have MSc degree or equivalent in bioscience and at least 3 years of experience in clinical study management, preferably related to IVDs or medical devices. Excellent organizational and project management skills, good written and verbal communication skills (English, Swedish/Finnish), and proven ability to work in global team environment are desired. Previous working experience and knowledge on molecular diagnostics would be an additional asset.
To be successful in the role you are driven and have the ability to independently plan and execute your work in an organized manner. Strong team working skills are required. Further you feel comfortable handling multiple tasks independently and are motivated by a high pace working environment.
