We are looking for a Chief Valuations Officer to lead the operational and strategic agenda for our subsidiary ValueMyStuff. ValueMyStuff is a global leader in online art, antique and collectible valuations and has helped to value more than 1.2 million antiques and collectibles for 500,000+ customers worldwide. As the Chief Valuations Officer you would be part of the management team and report to the CEO Barnebys Group. This role requires someone who loves representing brands externally, finding new partnerships and features to support growth, as well as working with a product development team.
What you'll do:
Set the strategic agenda and roadmap for developing ValueMyStuff to reach revenue targets in a period of high growth
Guide and inspire your team to develop a world class brand
Be part of the management team and engage in leadership activities
Work with the design and development teams to execute on product development related to business strategies and product maintenance
Build and manage the network of valuations experts
Manage and support sales and customer relations related to the valuations service or partnerships
Manage the digital marketing team to initiate campaigns related to the valuations brand
Oversee budgets and P&L responsibility for the business area in cooperation with the finance team
Who you are:
Experience in sales or client management, working to grow product
Experience in working closely with a design and technology team e.g. as a Product Manager
Experience in a management role, leading a team or high growth business
Prioritize well and be flexible in a fast-paced environment with changing demands
Have excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
Demonstrate the ability to provide a solution focused approach to problem solving
Fluent in English
