hela Sverige As the CFO of the ASSA ABLOY Group you will be heading up the financial and IT/IS organization for a business that exceeded 76 billion SEK in 2017, with some 48 000 employees. You will report to the CEO of the ASSA ABLOY Group and be based in Stockholm, Sweden.
As part of the ASSA ABLOY Group's executive management team you will play an active and important part in developing and implementing the Group's vision and strategy; a combination of three important actions: increase market presence, lead through innovation and increase cost-efficiency. You will work to support the Group's culture based on innovation and creative thinking to remain ahead of competition. You will promote and support collaboration throughout the Group to ensure that synergies, resources and business opportunities are fully taken advantage of. You will support an accountability driven culture, in a decentralized organizational model, by creating an understanding of the importance of numbers and details as well as the overall picture.
In your day to day work you will be responsible for the ASSA ABLOY Group's overall financial plans and policies, accounting practices and the relationship with investors and the financial community. You will direct and control financial management and cost accounting, taxation, internal audit and treasury functions, as well as coordinate and advise the CEO on all finance-related matters. In addition you have the overall responsibility for legal affairs, general administration and IT. Another top priority is to standardize and enhance efficiency in all processes within the Group and the entire business chain along with initiatives to improve effectiveness through digitization and automation of all information flows.
You will work closely with the CEO and divisional management within the Merger & Acquisition area, including target identification, efficient due diligence and integration processes.
To succeed in this role you will need to have a proven track record of leading a financial organization in a large corporate and international company. Experience of M&A, due diligence and integration is of great importance, as well as the ability to evaluate and act on financial targets.
You are a strong leader with the ability to lead through others, keeping in mind that ASSA ABLOY is a truly global organization with a strong decentralized internal structure. You would benefit from having worked in large decentralized organizations.
You are a true business leader with broad experience of understanding the requirements to drive the business forward, in combination with being a good communicator with the skill to make yourself understood at all levels of the business, along with cross-cultural understanding. You have a high technical understanding and an interest in IT, digitization and disruptive technologies. You understand the importance of drive standardization of processes in all areas of the business.
You are an excellent negotiator and can build long-term relationships. You understand the advantages of structure and processes as well as delegation and accountability and have the capability to drive this development within the organization. Your aim is to develop strong teams through transparency, leadership and communication, be open-minded and a strong collaborator.
You understand the importance of doing business in an ethical way and are used to drive compliance and export control programs within the business.
ASSA ABLOY is based out of Stockholm so it is important that you have deep knowledge and understanding of the Swedish business context as well as the Swedish Stock Exchange and related rules and regulations.
High proficiency in English, written and spoken, is required. As we are a decentralized, truly global organization, you will travel extensively in your role.
