hela Sverige As a chemist/scientist at Syngenta Seeds, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of new innovative seed coating materials and pelleting treatments, primarily for sugar beet and vegetable seeds. Once you are established in the role you will have a strong basic understanding of the seed coating processes and the interaction between coating and the physiology of seeds, germination and seedling growth.
As a chemist/scientist, you will be expected to address the transfer of novel seed coating-, pelleting- and other technologies to commercial scale operations. You will be working together with manufacturing, engineering and commercial colleagues as well as with scientist from other departments at other sites in both supporting and leading roles. You will be called upon to solve technical problems at Syngenta sites around the world.

Publiceringsdatum2013-06-13KvalifikationerFor this position we are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic person with the following qualifications:
• You have a PhD in chemistry or equivalent, preferably with a focus on physical chemistry, formulation science, material science and/or polymer chemistry.
• We see it as a great advantage if you have prior experience of working with plants or other living material.
• You have 2-5 years experience of working in the industry with product development, project management, scientific problem solving or other creative assignments. Experience from, and willingness to, work in production environment is highly beneficial.
• You have well documented experience of coordinating and leading projects
• We see it as an advantage if you have experience from working within international multidisciplinary project teams.
• As a person you have excellent social and communication skills. You are innovative, analytical and creative and you have a passion for technical and scientific innovation and problem solving. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
• You master English in speech and writing. Fluency in Swedish is an advantage.
