hela Sverige At Husqvarna Group, we're committed to building a sustainable and responsible supply base. As a Chemical Compliance Specialist within Sourcing, you'll play a key role in ensuring our sourcing practices align with global chemical regulations, helping us and our partners make safer, smarter choices for people and the planet.
If you are motivated by the opportunity to drive meaningful change through data-driven compliance work and close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, we'd love to hear from you!
About the Role
In this role, you'll help secure a sustainable direct material supplier base by supporting and coordinating chemical compliance efforts across our sourcing operations. You will execute on chemical compliance initiatives, work on improvements related to our current processes, and collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders, such as Commodity Managers, Project Sourcing Managers, our Product Compliance team, our external suppliers and external chemical compliance partners.
Key Responsibilities Include
Monitor and implement global chemical regulations (REACH, RoHS, POPs, Prop65) into sourcing and supplier compliance processes.
Ensure chemical compliance deliverables are met throughout the Production
Creation Process (PCP) (e.g., carry-over status, risk evaluation, testing, and evidence reviews at MP, PAMP, PASP, and End-gates).
Manage and update compliance data in internal systems, securing accurate supplier and material information.
Act as the sourcing representative in chemical compliance matters with suppliers, industry organizations, and regulatory authorities.
Collaborate with Product Compliance, R&D, and SQA to address material compliance risks in direct material projects.
Educate and support suppliers and sourcing colleagues on chemical compliance requirements and Full Material Declarations (FMDs).
Contribute to sourcing processes (supplier onboarding, risk scoring, and audits) to ensure Material compliance is embedded in supplier selection and lifecycle management.
Location
Huskvarna, Jönköping. We offer a flexible hybrid work setup, with an expected on-site presence of 2 to 3 days per week.
Who You Are
You're detail-oriented, collaborative, and driven by a purpose-led career. You thrive in cross-functional environments, enjoy solving complex challenges, and are passionate about making a tangible difference through compliance and sustainability. You're comfortable working with large volumes of data - gathering input from stakeholders, keeping records up to date, and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of compliance-related information.
In addition, you have:
A university degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in chemical compliance, ESG reporting, or supplier management and familiarity with global chemical regulations and compliance systems.
Experience managing large sets of compliance data, including collection, validation, and maintenance across systems and stakeholders.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.
Stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and with external partners.
Proficiency in Excel (advanced) and PowerPoint. Experience with Power BI and Siemens PLM is considered a plus.
Lean Six Sigma certification or experience is considered a plus, as it supports process excellence and continuous improvement.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
