In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:
Design, build, and optimize data pipelines from ETL to ingestion, chunking, and embedding approaches to support generative AI application development tailored for corporate & institutions business needs.
Develop and implement strategies for context engineering to enhance the relevance and accuracy of AI applications.
Implement and manage vector stores to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.
Leverage MS Azure services for scalable pipeline development and cloud integration.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application/model monitoring efforts and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Foster agile software development practices, ensuring adaptability to changing product requirements.
Play a pivotal role in accelerating the pace of delivery over time while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Make a tangible impact on the company's success through your expertise.
Engage in continuous learning through trainings, workshops and by working on diverse projects that push technological boundaries.

What is needed in this role:
Strong programming skills primarily in Python, especially geared towards building scalable data pipelines in generative AI development. Proficiency with MS Azure is advantageous.
Proven track record in developing robust ingestion processes from traditional ETL approaches to chunking and embedding approaches, including vector store management. Familiarity with CI/CD concepts is beneficial.
Ability to design context-aware systems that improve AI output relevance. Experience in optimizing pipeline performance is key.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with enthusiasm for teamwork; effective stakeholder management experience desired.
Creative problem-solving capabilities coupled with critical thinking skills; proven track record of addressing complex challenges through innovative solutions. Commitment to exploring new methodologies that advance AI application capabilities.
Knowledge of best practices for secure handling of sensitive banking information within data engineering projects on Azure platforms.
A growth mindset — motivated to explore frontier AI developments, stay updated on AI trends, and apply learnings to real-world challenges.
Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence or similar fields or comparable demonstrated hands/on experience.
