SAP COE is part of the Core Platform Area SAP and Business Administration organization, within Technology, a new function within Volvo Group Digital & IT with a big stake in the Group's digital transformation. Technology will modernize Volvo's core digital backbone making it a platform for digital products.
SAP Center of Excellence digital talents develop capabilities and digital technologies to improve business performance and create value for the Group with speed and at scale. SAP COE also operates and delivers SAP common solutions and services used across the Group.
We collaborate with other parts of the organization, both in Group Digital & IT, with TD/BAs and Group Functions. We foster an environment where ideas, thoughts and opinions can be shared. We are team players with clear common ambitions, and we win together.
This is how you could make an impact
As Chapter Lead of the SAP COE team in Sweden & US, you will contribute to the digital transformation and modernization of the Volvo SAP landscape and develop a pool of talents eager to contribute to the journey.
You will be an active member of the SAP COE management team and report to the Head of this unit.
These are the main expectations on you:
Attract and nurture SAP digital talents (8-12 talents) , and develop a team that is curious, hungry to learn and implement new SAP technologies, and adopt Agile and DevSecOps ways of working.
Manage capacity planning and new requests for SAP expertise needs in Sweden and US.
Work as a practitioner in your area of expertise, and continue to develop your skills and expertise, being involved in prestudies, one-time or runtime activities.
Actively drive SAP communities and perform technology watch related to your area of expertise, and promote knowledge sharing and best practice across the organization.
Demonstrating an inclusive and inspirational leadership, you communicate at ease with your team of dedicated and highly skilled SAP professionals located in Sweden and US.
Who are you?
You want to take your career to the next level, working with amazing people around the world and contributing to the Volvo Group digital transformation and the modernization of the Volvo ERPs. You have a university degree or equivalent, are expert in one of the SAP domains (functional or technical) and are looking to combine field activities with line management responsibilities.
The right candidate will be able to think and act strategically but also to operate and implement change tactically when required, dealing effectively with ambiguity and managing changing priorities. You should be passionate about driving strategic & technological transformation in a business focused, fact-based and collaborative way to achieve real impact.
In addition to this, you are a passionate believer in continuous learning. You should feel energized by working both independently and interdependently, have proven skills in cross-functional collaboration and thrive in managing, foster and enable both the perform and the transform angles of the job.
