The role will require a person with strong scientific skills, to form networks within and outside the company to investigate signalling pathways which lead to cellular phenotypic changes and how such mechanisms are involved in diseases such as idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis as well as severe asthma and COPD. Recommending and managing external collaborations and outsourcing as well as representing the department at interdisciplinary meetings, internally as well as externally, is also part of the role.
