Take on a challenge with great opportunities to shape your future and contribute with your Procurement skills in a truly professional environment! We are now hiring a Category Manager to our team in Sweden where you will be responsible for a set number of Indirect categories within Hitachi Energy.

Your responsibilities
Supporting the implementation of Supply Chain activities and initiatives in the countries through clear communication
Fostering communication internally, externally, and between different Business lines and Functions
Responsibility for planned cost reduction, cost avoidance, supplier's reduction, PO coverage, customer satisfaction, payment terms, spend compliance & processes automation
Analyzing problems to identify best solutions and triggering improvements to ensure effectiveness and efficiency
Identifying, documenting, and communicating best practices using of benchmarking, surveys, and case studies to establish preferred business Practices
Contributing to development and implementation of Supply Chain Management Indirect Materials and Services standards, tools, and processes

Your background
You hold a university degree within a relevant area
You have at least 3 years of procurement and strategic sourcing experience, preferably in Indirect Materials and Services
Wide range knowhow in Supplier Management, of Indirect Materials and Services Contract Management
Strong knowledge of MS office tools
Strong project management, execution, and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
As you will be part of a company that operates on a global arena, fluency in English and Swedish is required
