Are you a Category Manager with passion for global collaboration and are looking for new challenges? Are you driven by developing suppliers and improve way of working, and would like to be a part of an exciting journey together with Epiroc Mining and Rock Excavation Service Division (MRS)?
You will be responsible for machining, welding, powerpack and drivetrain categories.
Your main responsibility will be to manage relationships with suppliers to provide a stable product supply, year-over-year cost reduction, reduced lead times, and to work with delivery precision and quality.
You are also responsible to secure that your supplier base fulfils the corporate governance standards, including environmental and ethical standards, of the Epiroc group. You will have interaction internally with marketing, technical, supply chain and externally with suppliers.
You will be a part of Strategic Sourcing department in Örebro - MRS Division. We are 6 category managers and 3 tactical purchases. We are a part of a global organization and collaborate with our colleague's worldwide.
This position requires travelling.
Experience & knowledge requirements:
- University degree with some years of experience from strategic sourcing
- Proven negotiation skills and business knowledge
- Supplier Relations Management/supplier risk management
- Experience in supply chain management
- Fluent in Swedish, verbally and in writing
- Fluent in English, verbally and in writing
A structured way of working is vital in this role. Finding solutions and to solve problems is also key to be successful in this role.
Personality requirements:
You should be a pro-active and goal oriented individual. This position requires strong communication skills to negotiate with suppliers. We see that you are an outgoing person with great ability to build long lasting business relations. In order to be successful, you must have a high level of personal drive and strong analytical skills.
This position reports to the Strategic Sourcing Manager MRS - Örebro hub.
