Packet core in Business Area Digital Services (BDGS) develop and deliver packet core solutions for mobile networks. We enable millions of simultaneous connected mobile users while handling traffic from IoT to 4K video in Gbit speeds. BDGS will become the partner of choice of Telecom operators using the latest technologies in cloud and automation to manage complexity so the ambitious can differentiate with TCO efficient solutions for programmable 4G and 5G networks, automated operations and digital engagements. To accomplish this our products must deliver super-high numbers in terms of capacity, bit-rates, simultaneous users and a lot of other key characteristics needed for the latest and future generations of both 5G and 4G mobile networks. We must also deliver tools that can accurately predict what network setup is needed to deliver the needed capacity to our customers.
We are currently looking for a CAPACITY PROGRAM MANAGER, for driving the needed activities for requirements, design and implementation so that we can fulfill customer requirements regarding capacity numbers for our products and solutions delivered by the gateway product development group (PDG). Our new product portfolio with Packet Core is based on cloud native principles, we seek to build a common architecture for all Packet Core Network functions optimized to execute in cloud environments. Technology utilized include container technology like Docker and Kubernetes, microservices architecture and databases like Redis.

The Capacity Program Manager role is a key role within our organization, focusing on technology leadership as well as business needs in a balanced view. Technical understanding of mobile network capacity development is needed to be successful in this role. As Capacity Program Manager you will coordinate a variety of critically important activities to wring as much capacity as is possible from our gateway products. A mid- to long-term goal is to have automated capacity testing implemented and executed for all software builds which is continuously released. Capacity cannot degrade from one release to another; rather it must improve. And we must also be able to accurately foresee what network setup a particular set of capacity requirements will need so we can advice our customers what environment and hardware to buy from us.
You will have a close cooperation with many stakeholders in the organization like solution line, product owners, system architects, design architects and system managers working with different levels on the networks.
Responsibilities:
Securing plans based on agreed capability.
Accountable for visualizing plans and progress and promptly highlight deviations and risks.
Securing collaboration across the Business-Technology-Operational dimensions and with other stakeholders.
Identifying and implementing improvements of relevant WoW and applicable flows.
Visualizing status for ongoing system design and development activities
Securing shared collaboration between sites
Inform and secure long-term plan for System design activities/artifacts going forward
Facilitating Technical meetings
Facilitating good collaboration between Product Owners and general System Level analysts and designers

Qualifications:
Technical understanding of capacity related development in large software systems
Experience from earlier system assignments
Deep understanding of the domain/area
Excellent stake-holder management skills
Business understanding
Excellent communication and presentation skills. (Be able to communicate with operators and customers at different levels)
Good people skills
Drive commitments with high energy
Fast response to changes
Experience working according to Lean and Agile principles
You must enjoy a fast paced and changing work environment
