So who are we? You will be a part of a diverse team of 16 project managers and project leaders who are located in Gothenburg, Lundby. Role description
In this role, your main responsibility will be to lead a team of dedicated calibration engineers in different groups in the organization. You will also be responsible for planning, coordinating and follow-up complete engine calibrations within an engine product. You will define and manage the performance and calibration development plan - which includes engine, vehicle, diagnostics and after-treatment optimizations. As an Engine Calibration leader, you will also be responsible for communicating performance and calibrations maturity within projects. To be successful in this role we believe you have the ability to engage others and have an analytical mindset. If you enjoy structure and have a holistic view we believe we are a match!
Who are you?
We believe that for you to be successful in this position you should be a creative, structured and analytical person. You have good communication and leadership skills and we see that it is a big plus if you have a C/CE driving license. We are happy if you have worked with engine calibration within Volvo Powertrain before but it is not a requirement.
We believe that as our new colleague you possess the following skills:
Master of Science in Mechatronics, Physics, Electrical, Mechanical engineering or equivalent
A few years of engine calibration experience
Fluent in English, written and spoken
