R&D is a core function at QT that provides QlikView - the Business discovery solution. The number of R&D co-workers has increased rapidly, from 14 employees in 2004 to 100 at the end of 2011. In order to support the fast growing QT and meet the needs of current and future customers, R&D will continue to grow in the next coming years. The role of Software developer is instrumental to meeting the increasing number of requests for new features, higher quality and new products coming from our customers.
The role consists of develop software based on Scenarios and featuresets provided by the Product Management. As a Software developer you will have impact on what the content of the scenarios and feature sets are by working with Product Management.
Your responsibilities:
Design, implementation and documentation of features so that they fit with the QlikView architecture and the current project. This is done in collaboration with the Lead developer, the Principal architect, Testers and the Project manager.
Write unit-tests for your code as defined in the project.
Responsible for working with other project members to make sure that the features are correctly handled in the project.
Actively contribute to Product innovation.
Be an active contributor to the company's initiatives for process improvements, and drive assigned initiatives.

Bachelor degree in Computer Science (or similar)
At least 5 years of working experience of C++
Experience using agile software development methods like SCRUM or Kanban is required
Experience of QlikView is desirable
The position is based in Lund, Sweden.
