What do we offer
This Buyer role within Indirect Purchasing organization focuses on spare parts towards our car plants for the areas, machinery and equipment, service and repairs and all replacement and Special tools based on drawing.
You will be an important part of creating and maintaining our strategic business plan within the spare parts area as well as identifying new opportunities and securing best practice within the area. You will also cooperate with the Indirect Purchasing buyers in China and US to some extent. The supply base is global though a majority are located in Europe. Your main stakeholder will be our inventories

You will also learn many different commercial setups and get good knowledge of different business setups and different type of contracts.
What you'll do?
* Find the best commercial outcome for Volvo Car Group specific to your commodities
* Develop relationships key suppliers to ensure best pricing, quality and delivery
* Ensure the market intelligence and the technical trends
* Validate new supplier introduction
* Perform procurement, constant improvement and increase of efficiency according to defined strategies and frameworks
* Negotiate and sign agreements
You and your skills
* Economic or Technical university degree or equivalent
* Experience from negotiations in with focus on commercial targets
* Excellent communication skills (written and oral) in English
* Experience from working within the automotive industry is meritorious
* Driver's license, B-level

For this position, you need to be Customer focused, business acumen, energetic, and target oriented.
It is important that you have a good commercial sense, strategic and holistic mind-set, strong ability for teamwork and drive tasks independently. You also need to have Confidence to act in an international environment
