hela Sverige Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
Scania Financial Services (SFS) is serving customers, dealers and distributors in some 60 markets through 18 captive business units with financing and insurance solutions. In markets where we operate Financial Services finance about one third of Scania's truck sales. Over 1000 dedicated professionals manage a portfolio consisting of 160.000 trucks, buses, coaches and trailers representing around 100 bn SEK of assets financed and more than 100.000 insurance policies. More details about Scania Financial Services' results can be found in the annual report of Scania.
In order to be a competitive player on the market, SFS needs to move from admin focus to sales focus. By harmonising our way of working, with a customer centric approach and with the help of business solutions, we create a digital transformation of our business.
To develop and execute the transformation, the Unity Program has been initiated and the work is now entering a new phase. As Business Solution Owner for Presales (BSO Presales) you will be a vital person in this digitalisation journey focusing on the presales to order related processes excluding the credit underwriting process. As these processes are tightly connected to Scania 's vehicle- and solution sales process, the role is highly cross-functional and of vital importance to the future way of working within the Scania sales organisation.
Are you our new Business Solution Owner for Presales?
Do you have a broad experience of working customer centric with digital solutions supporting the solution sales process within the customer finance and/or the automotive industry? From Scania or another international company working with financial solutions in- and/or outside of Europe? Then you might be our new Business Solution Owner for Presales for Scania Financial Services.
Your role:
The BSO Presales will be a member of our Sales and Business Development team, working closely with the team 's head and our Business Developers as well as with our Operations team. As almost all users of our digital solutions work outside Sweden, intensive contacts with and feedback from international stakeholders is crucial. There are also important stakeholders at Head Office, including central Commercial Operations which is responsible for the sales of all vehicles and related services.
As a Business Solution Owner you will:
• Shape and lead the digitalisation and integration of presales and sales to order solutions together with central and local stakeholders. You will work closely with SFS Operations and be a key player in SFS' digital transformation.
• Participate in the Unity Program and drive the Unity Presales and Sales Community to secure the industrialisation approach and support the implementation of modularised and common solutions.
• Act as a change agent and provide support to SFS management, business unit management and boards
The work is on a global level and our environment is in constant change. We build and shape as we run. You will therefore need to have a growth mindset and a pragmatic way of working, but at the same time be able to evaluate, prioritise and act in order to build sustainable and robust solutions that can evolve over time. You will also need to be confident in working and leading virtual teams and resources within different parts of Scania and our Service Providers. This to enable the co-creation set up and agile way of working, that is part of our new set up within SFS.
Competence and experience:
• Advanced knowledge and experience within digital solutions supporting presales and sales processes within the financial services sector or within automotive solution sales
• Strong leadership skills to build confidence and act as thought leader to build and drive change. This by acting, executing and engaging communities, forums and the management within SFS.
• Experience from transformations within larger enterprises including organisational changes.
• Experience with out-sourced solutions involving multiple supplier set-ups and cloud solutions.
• Experience in creating lead gen- and sales funnel related metrics to allow for a data driven business steering as well as to support advanced sales management.
• While you will have a strong platform and support, we want you to build momentum, engagement and trust based on your knowledge and communication skills.
• Fluent in English both oral and written, additional language skill will be seen as an advantage.
The job offers international contacts with our global Finance companies. This also means that you are expected to travel from time to time. In this position you will be reporting to the Scania Financial Services Head of Sales and Business Development at Scania Financial Services. You will be located in Södertälje, Sweden.
