Do you have a background from Product Management and a proven record of people leadership? Are you a team player combined with a strong business attitude and ability to lead in challenging times? This might be an exciting role for you, where you are part of the downstream hardware leadership team and will report to the General Manager for the business. The team consists of five product managers, four based in Uppsala, Sweden and one Marlborough, USA.
What you'll do
As a business leader for Single Use and emerging technologies you would be responsible for driving the business strategy and growth for Cytiva's downstream hardware business in the single use area including both chromatography and filtration (TFF) equipment as well as collecting future needs in emerging technologies in the downstream space.
Develops a clear and comprehensive long term business strategy across the franchise that is based on, and considers current and future market trends and the competitive landscape.
Leads a team of direct reporting product managers. Establishes and optimizes the organizational structure of the team to ensure efficient and successful execution of job tasks. Drives people and team development to build skills, talent and succession.
Represents the P&L and takes leadership internally and at customers, conferences, trade shows, industry publications and blogs. Supports the commercial teams in customer interactions and always works to create a positive customer experience.
Leads a designated business area of product-, application- and solution offerings. All aspects of life cycle management of the portfolio including driving new product introduction and prioritization in accordance with the business strategy
Leads the work to improve profit for the company by defining and driving global price adjustments, manufacturing cost-out activities and price model offerings.

Who you are
University degree or Ph.D in Marketing, Engineering, Biotechnology or other Life Science equivalent field.
Long term working experience in a Life Science based business with roles in product marketing, product development or related, preferably within the downstream area with both equipment and consumables
Previous experience of leading a (global) team.
Experience from direct interaction with customers, preferably within pharma or biotech. Strong ability to understand customer needs and how the company can help meet these.
Experience in working in a global matrix organization and proven record of achieving results with cross functional teams.
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation abilities in English. Comfortably presents and discusses with Senior and Executive management, strong executive presence.
Engages broadly and grows relationships with stakeholders - local and global.
