Role Summary
You will join FEXCO's newly established and highly motivated Nordic team. The role requires a self-motivated and enthusiastic candidate to maximise business potential and revenue opportunities in the region. It is a fast paced environment which necessitates day to day management of existing as well as new customers within the acquiring and merchant channels. The Business Development Manager must also target new opportunities and help continue to grow the business into the future within these sales channels.
The candidate must have strong ability to multi-task and prioritise while never compromising on the high level of customer service required to maintain and build new revenue streams. The candidate must also undertake business development projects, to work independently and with internal and other resources to build on the key customer relationships.
The successful candidate will have a strong ability to work autonomously, plan strategically and have a proven track record of working in a fast paced, multi-faceted environment.
This role will involve extensive travel in the region.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify and build business development opportunities within current and new channels
Maximise revenue opportunities.
Define merchant sales and revenue conversion targets
Develop action plans to advance further revenues.
Maintain and build solid relationships with current and new merchants
Achieve and maximise potential opportunities
Attend functions, conferences as necessary
Submit daily and weekly reports, merchant set ups and other various reports as required ensuring data is accurate.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE NEEDED
Proven track record in business development activities across sectors
Experience from within the Finance sector in the Nordics
A strong communicator with ability to work independently
A strong ability to build relationships
Fluency, written and verbal, in Swedish and English. Additional Nordic languages advantageous
3rd level degree in business or equivalent

COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
The successful candidate is likely to be:
A driven person with strong business development skills.

Self-motivated and able to demonstrate strong organisation and prioritisation skills in a business development and relationship management environment.

Must be able to work under pressure and successfully manage a very diverse and demanding
workload combined with an ability to work autonomously.

Comfortable and capable of communicating with all levels of people within and outside the
business with a high level of professionalism.

Flexible attitude to working hours and willingness to travel.

Able to assimilate into the partner organisation whilst maintaining a professional client relationship.
