You are a quick and adaptable learner. You are also passionate about storytelling through data analysis, continuous improvement, data quality ownership and being a champion of IT capability expansion! If this describes you, we have an exciting position in a high-performance and impactful team which will strive to ensure your success!
Who's your new team?
We are a tight-knit group with the sole mission of continually improving our process automation along with connecting our supply chain performance for our Volvo production plants. With our can-do attitude and critical thinking team members, we continue to push the envelope of analytics, automation, visualization, and lean thinking.
Our team is starting an aggressive journey into the wealth of untapped data in our various supply chain/financial systems. Through connecting our data, we are able to understand fully our E2E losses that helps drive the company's priorities for cost and sustainability targets. This position will be located in Gothenburg and will report to the VP of Business Control for Production Logistics.
What's your role in the team?
You will be responsible for researching new technologies and methods across data engineering, and data visualization, aggregating data from several existing sources, identify any potential additional data sources and utilize this data to build measurement tools, visualizations, dashboards, processes & automation to ensure the team has the information to not only easily identify the weak links in our value chain, but also point to specific areas of weakness. You will do this with direct data connections, process automation and Diagnostic/Descriptive statistics. The tools of the trade are the following (but not limited to): Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, Qlik etc.
You will take ambiguous problems from our business and create integrated solutions using various structured and unstructured data sources. The key objective is to proactively manage data, visualization changes of the supply chain, logistics. You will do this using automation (to retrieve & combine data sets) and advanced (predictive/prescriptive) statistical analysis/ML/AI to find correlation or causality within millions of data entries and across several systems.
Additionally, there will be "exploration labs" where you will lead the efforts of the team to tackle difficult supply chain problems in short and highly focused sprints (like Agile/Scrum)
Who are you?
We are looking for candidates with the following skills, knowledge, and 1-3 years' experience:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
Experience working with and manipulating large data sets in Excel, SQL or any other database management systems.

Master's degree or certifications in advanced statistical analysis (Machine Learning, Data Engineering, Six Sigma etc.) is a plus
