hela Sverige The Global Operational Services (GOPS) is a unit within Essity who among many activities counts the Global Procurement of Direct Raw materials for all our manufacturing units as well as Global Procurement for Indirect services like IT systems, Media purchases, etc. GOPS responsibility stretches over the continents of Europe, North America and Latin America and covers our Consumer and Professional Tissue business as well as our Personal Care business.
We are searching for a Business Controller Procurement to join our Procurement Controlling team within Essity GOPS.
The location for this position is Gothenburg, Sweden and you will report to Controlling Director Procurement.
Main Tasks
Consolidate Monthly financial reporting and follow-up of all saving initiatives in Global Procurement within perimeter of responsibility
Analyze financial development for sourcing and share insights and recommendations short-term as well as long-term
Act as Process leader in forecasting savings during running year as well as budgeting for upcoming years within perimeter of responsibility
Validate independently all saving initiatives in our system Sourcing Project Tracker (SPT) as updated by our Global Procurement team
Act as true Business Partner towards Global Procurement teams, Global Manufacturing as well to our Commercial business units sharing financial reports and analysis as well as giving financial recommendations
Coordinate quarterly forecasts of raw material cost drivers within Global Procurement Streams and then providing both quarterly raw material cost assumptions to Global Manufacturing enabling product costs calculations as well as forecasting full-year simulations
Own and develop the sourcing-related controlling tools as part of the Procurement Controlling team to consolidate and analyze spending and cost development
Participate actively in global financial projects as well as other global projects
Follow controlling standards and other Essity policies such as Internal Control Requirements (ICR). Follow-up actions relating to procurement internal audits for Global Procurement and Global Manufacturing sites with relevant stakeholders, ensuring corrective actions are completed and pro-active measures are created.
Key Competencies
University degree in business or economics
Minimum 3-4 years of professional experience within Finance & Controlling
Fluent English communication skills (verbal and written)
Excellent analytical skills
Capacity to work independently in a global cyber network
Deliver results respecting both Quality and Time constraints
Strong team working capability
Interpersonal skills and savvy dealing with multi-cultures
Capacity to communicate to a non-financial community
Holistic understanding
Advanced MS Excel skills
Experience using SAP FI/CO, SAP BW, MS PowerPoint is an advantage
