We are growing our team of business controllers, and due to one internal move, we are now looking for a strong and experienced business controller to take on the role as finance business partner to our R&D, Product Management and Product Solutions functions.
What will you do?
In this role, you will be the Business Controller to R&D, Product Management and Product Development at Axis. The role includes ownership of the forecasting process, monthly follow-up and reporting (including mirroring of cost and income across the various departments) for your stakeholders.
Your primary stakeholders are the CTO, the VP R&D, and their direct reports. You will be exposed to cross-functional work and projects on various levels, in addition to traditional controlling tasks.
You will together with Finance and the Business Intelligence team continue to develop and implement Qlik Sense and our new forecasting tool, Anaplan. You will join the Business Control team at Axis Communications with a dozen dedicated and experienced colleagues, covering all functions within Axis Communications. The role reports to the Director of Business Control.
Who are we looking for?
We believe your seniority reflects at least 7 years' working experience working with finance, of which minimum 5 years within controlling. You have a great track record from controlling and are eager to constantly develop and improve. You enjoy working in a fast-growing business, where systems and structure not always are following the pace of business, and where you have the opportunity to make an impact when creating solutions.
As a person you are service minded and analytical. You are familiar in using quantitative and qualitative approaches for your analyses. It is important that you take ownership and put great pride into the quality of your work. You strive to be close to the business, and it is an advantage if you have above average technical interest and have previous experience from working with management teams.
When it comes to supporting business decisions, you dare to challenge, you are a good communicator, and you are able to present various angles to different parts of the organization.
