hela Sverige We are Volvo Production Logistics (PL) and we contribute to keeping every VOLVO Group plant supplied with material and ensure all finished units are delivered. At PL Business Control we add a little fun back in 'FUNance' while always striving to understand cost drivers and push improvements in cost to improve value for both the organization and customers.
We are currently in a very dynamic phase of transformation as we strive to be more digitized, automated and inspired by using new software platforms and gaining new competencies across the team.
We are looking for someone to join us on this journey to make one improvement at a time and deliver value over time.
During this role you will be placed at various Volvo production sites inside of their logistics departments for 3 to 4 months. You will be given projects around material planning and internal/external logistics to help you gain insight on how the logistics of Volvo runs in a complex world. After the assignment is complete you will join the Business Control Production Logistics department full-time to help make our supply chain more cost efficient.
MAIN ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (after logistics assignment)
Your main mission will be to create transparency in our financial performance. To create this transparency, you and our team and the network will have some key challenges and focus areas:
Financial stability - Secure a stable base to understand the overall financial performance
Analytic capability - Utilize knowledge of visualization tools such as PowerBI, Qlik to explore financial data in an efficient way for information purposes
Story telling - Analyze the complex data and make it into something actionable

CRITICAL COMPETENCIES FOR THE POSITION
Curiosity with numbers to analyze and draw conclusions that help the business succeed.
Digitalization - BI, Office automation, ML etc. supporting a data-to-information journey
Strong personal credibility, integrity, and creativity.
Strong communicator with good influencing skills, able to create trustful relations.
Demonstrated ability to drive change, to set demanding targets and to motivate teams and individuals to deliver outside their comfort zones.
EDUCATION
University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain or related field.
