Over 850 dedicated professionals manage a portfolio consisting of 140.000 vehicles representing around 75 billion SEK of assets financed, and a portfolio of 80.000 insurance policies.
The aim for SFS is to become a true and integrated part of the Scania Solution Sales offering, by developing customer satisfaction and loyalty while adding values to the stakeholders and customer's customers when living the Scania Experience.
At the SFS Head Office located in Södertälje a group of some 45 colleagues, representing over 10 nationalities, steers and supports the overall SFS business. The business control function consist currently of four persons, and as one of our Business controller is taking on a new position within Scania, we are now looking for his successor.
Job Description
The role is mainly focused on system implementations in SFS business units around the world. SFS are in the process of rolling out Axapta as a common general ledger, setup according to SFS Common Financial Model, integrated with financial contract management systems. Furthermore, the role also to some extent includes performing business and financial analysis to enable the organization to achieve its goals.
The main responsibilities as Business controller:
Steer accounting and reporting solutions when implementing Axapta as general ledger, integrated with financial contract management systems throughout our different Business Units
Responsible for the development and maintenance of SFS Common Financial Model
Support to local finance companies in various business issues
Participate in different Financial Services and Cross-functional projects
Provide management information tools and solutions to local BUs, as well as stakeholders at Head Office such as Financial Services management, Scania Group Reporting and Control and the Scania CFO
As a Business controller you will have the opportunity to work in an international environment in close contact with SFS finance companies around the world. This also means that you will travel on a regular basis. In this position you will be reporting to the Head of Business control at Scania Financial Services.
Your profile
In order to be successful in this position you will need to have 5-7 years of relevant experience of working within accounting and controlling area. You should have a keen interest in, and ambitions to support, SFS further developments within sustainable infrastructure solutions as well as within the financing area.
The suitable candidate needs to have the following skills :
Accounting and controlling experience
Value adder in teamwork and project environments
Analytical and accurate
Thinking in solutions
High integrity when harmonising local and central requirements
Communicative - Co-operative
Fluent in written and spoken English
It would be beneficial if you have experience from a Financial Services company and/or experience from system implementations within accounting and/or financial contract management systems. It is also an advantage if you have experience from group accounting/reporting.
You are an open minded and dedicated person who is motivated by engaging other colleagues. A "can-do" attitude, professional approach and a continuous ambition to improve is important in this role, which offers you great opportunities for further developments.
