Sandvik Coromant Business Control takes an active part in achieving Sandvik Coromant's objectives. We aim to be true business partners - supporting decision-making and performance management by securing high quality processes and providing efficient, reliable and proactive financial analysis. We are now looking for a Business Controller for Sales Area North Europe who wants to take on the challenge of both supporting and challenging senior management as well as other stakeholders within the region. This is a key role with a wide scope and many interfaces, a combination of great responsibility, business involvement and impact, and a chance to join the world leader in the industry.
The location for this position is flexible within Europe, and extensive travel is a natural part of your work.
Key performance areas
As Business Controller for Sales Area North Europe, you contribute to reaching the overall operational and financial goals for the Sales Area. You are responsible for period-end reports and analysis, manage capital expenditures, and continually monitor performance and provide proactive ad-hoc analysis of current issues. With a financial perspective on operational issues, you provide recommendations and drive decision-making, supporting key business decisions with fact-based analysis and simulation. Furthermore, you coordinate your way of working with other Business Controllers in the sales area, where focus lies on sharing best practice and strengthening the controller network. As an active member of the management team, you act as a business partner and build strong relationships and networks with key stakeholders. Through fulfilling all the main responsibilities, you support the execution of key activities and ensure the expected performance outcome.
In this position, you report to the General Manager of Sales Area North Europe.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree in Finance or Business Administration, and a minimum of three to five years' experience from a senior business controlling position in a global matrix organization. We expect you to be an experienced user of Office 365 and business financial systems, where SAP is advantageous. As we act in a global setting, you need excellent skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
