hela Sverige The department Inbound Logistics OI are responsible for the supply process from supplier to our factories, for interplant transports and for the packaging supply process with a yearly turnover of 2 billion SEK. We have contact with all production facilities and suppliers within Europe and we have a close cooperation with the logistic organization in Brazil.
Scania are taking a deeper responsibility over our transport process to increase our knowledge about our customers business. Therefore we are now searching for a driven and skilled person to drive our Business control.
Work assignments
Performance control, containing monthly analysis and follow up of performance and forecasts. This requires continuous contact with the different stakeholders within the Production & Logistics
Reporting and presenting the results to the management team and other stakeholders within Inbound logistics
Challenge the logistic organisation to continuous improvement
Develop and improve the current processes within logistic controlling
Add hoc questions and work assignments
The business controller will be a member of the management team and has the responsibility of supporting the management team with analysis, business case and financial follow-up. The role gives opportunities to work with business analysis close to the logistic operations at Scania. You will have contacts with both colleagues in the Logistic organisation, other production units and also at the central staff function.
Your profile
We are looking for a positive person with excellent analytical and social skills. You have a holistic picture of the business but are not afraid to dig into details. You are comfortable navigating between logistic and financial topics. As an individual you are independent and self-driven, an excellent communicator and a team-player. You naturally focus on continuous improvements and strive for achieving successful results.
You have a degree in Business and Administration or Industrial Engineering and Management (or similar). You are fluent in English and Swedish.
