The team at Greasy Spoon is growing and evolving. We have opportunities for experienced chefs, both full-time and part-time.
It's a fast paced and fun working environment, driven by a small team that values friendship, trust and teamwork. We work towards a structured and stress-free environment, and we offer the rare benefit (in hospitality) of daytime opening hours.
Full-time we offer 4 shifts per week, around 35 to 40 hours. One double weekend per month. Part-time around 25 hours over 3 shifts, but must be available both Saturdays and Sundays.
About You:
Has a passion for food, using fresh & quality ingredients, with an emphasis on both great taste and an eye for presentation.
An interest in food trends and health trends.
Awareness of the brunch scene in NY London & Melbourne.
Experienced in busy fast-paced kitchens.
Flexible and positive.
Has a systematic approach to the smooth running of a kitchen.
Can stay calm under pressure.
Happy to work in a collaborative team, including together with front of house.
Prepared to work weekends, although only day time.
Looking for work-life balance.
