hela Sverige The Global Data Warehouse (GDW) department handles the global data repository for the eleven strategic business units for the Dentsply Sirona group. This team works cross-functionally, which means that you will interact with many functions primarily finance and sales, but also supply and operations.
Your key accountabilities are:
• Work closely with GDW manager to ensure prioritization of corporate and departmental objectives and projects.
• Coordinate projects to provide BI solutions from business needs
• Help write and optimize SQL statements as part of the GDW ETL processes
• Develop standards, patterns, best practices for reuse and acceleration
• Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases
• Prepare documentations and specifications
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
• Reviewing query performance and optimizing code in GDW
• Support and maintain data quality in global data warehouse
Who you are
In the role as BI Architect it is important that you can work independently, but also find it stimulating to work in a team as well as in a multicultural and multinational environment. You should find comfort in working with ongoing system and process changes. To succeed it is essential that you have good analytic ability with a logical thinking and that you are interested in details and have the ambition to understand complex environment.
We believe you have:
• An academic background, with relevant university degree within Management Information System
• Strong proficiency with SQL and its variation among popular databases
• Skilled at optimizing large complicated SQL statements
• Knowledge of best practices when dealing with relational databases
• Capable of troubleshooting common database issues
• You have an knowledge of data design and analysis of BI systems and processes
• Knowledge of Power BI is preferable
• Communicative skills, both verbally and in writing, both in Swedish and English
