We are now looking for Autonomous Drive Tech Lead/Strategist!
Our passion and strong belief is that the future traffic load within big cities can be drastically reduced by providing services and vehicles which motivates people to share a ride, either with friends or with total strangers.
To achieve this we understand that these vehicles will be electrified, connected, autonomous and built for this purpose. This further means that these vehicles will not only be driven on electricity but also on software, and lots of it. NEVS strategy is to create much of this software in-house! YOUR TEAM
As an Autonomous Drive Tech Lead/Strategist you will be part of the Vehicle Motion Controls Engineering & Artificial Intelligence chapter, which is one of five competence areas within the Software Tribe. Our focus is to develop inhouse software solutions for integrated vehicle motion control and autonomous driving and furthermore to support this development with data analytics and strategies for data management.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
We are now looking for a person with solid technical experience from the AV industry who can support in defining our strategies, define the technical roadmaps and set the milestones for the autonomous drive capabilities that we will need to reach our vision. This includes working closely with our AD partners, inhouse development teams and other collaboration partners such as universities and other research organisations. It will also be to support our solution management teams, product managers and line managers to be aligned with the strategy. The full scope of the role will be based on your previous experience.
You will need to have a good understanding of (amongst other things) the AD software stack and its different components, the ODD definition, the V&V activities required for AV's, the general approval process for public road permits, etc.
Also experience from open source stacks such as Autoware (www.autoware.org) is very beneficial.
To summarize you will work with:
- Define/support NEVS AD strategies and related roadmaps
- Work closely with our AD partners to define common roadmaps and milestones
- Support the inhouse AD development teams with goals and milestones
- Support the internal project managers with AD
- Networking with universities and research organizations
WHO YOU ARE
- A believer of our future products with Master of Science or higher degree
- A team player with more than 5 years of experience from developing and/or verification of for autonomous drive software
- An innovative person with proven experience from the AV industry
- A solution oriented person with the ability to have a holistic view on things and with experience from leading development/R&D projects.
A person with:
- Experience from ISO 26262 (FuSa), ISO 21448 (SOTIF), SAE J3016 (ODD)
- Experience from Autoware or other AD software stack
- Ability to share her or his expertise to colleagues
- Fluent English skills, both spoken and written
