The section Security and Body Electronics within the Vehicle SW & Electronics has responsibilities that stretches from early phases until launch of new cars. We develop customer functionality; handle project management, analysis, verification, hardware and software. The technical responsibility covers many of the security systems in the vehicle, such as Access, Locking & Alarm, but also a number of electronic control units, for instance the centrally positioned Central Electronic Module (CEM). The section is also home to a group with the responsibility of in-house developed SW to the CEM.
In the Analysis & Verification team (A&V), Security and Body Electronics we are a group of 13 people where our main focus of the team is to verify function implementation and system implementation of some of the vital electrical systems in the car, such as Exterior light, Visibility, Authorization, Access and Alarm. We verify in vehicles, boxcars and HIL-rigs. This implies also frequent cross-functional contacts with various parts of the development- and verification community within the company.

As the Analysis & Verification Engineer (A&V), Automation/ HIL-rig and DVM Specialist, you will be responsible for developing automation tests application methods/ DVMs for all areas within the group.
You will also be responsible for designing and developing test objects aiming for automation testing.
You will play an important role in creating and developing automation verification processes and methods and will be able to build a wide network within Security and Body Electronics as well as within the entire Product Development unit.

Main responsibilities
* Responsible for developing test methods for an Automation environment in all areas of the group.
* Design and build Test objects for automation testing (ex. HIL-rigs and Bench-rigs)
* Be part of the creation of the automation strategy/ processes and execute according to that strategy.
* Planning and preparation of tests / test objects
* Participate in planning meetings.

Required qualifications
* B. Sc / M. Sc in engineering or several years' experience in electrical automation verification.
* Programming skills in C, C++ and CAPL
* Knowledge within HW- and SW-verification.
* Experience of developing software and build environments in test rigs.
* Fluent in English (written and spoken)
* Structured with good ability to plan daily and future work effectively
* Driver's license B (car)
Meritorious qualifications
* Experience from tests and test design for automotive
* Experience from System engineering
* Good knowledge in Volvo systems
* Vehicle testing experience
* Knowledge in AUTOSAR
* Experience in Vector Systems (VT-system)
* Experience from the automotive and the electronic development process
