The Production Technology aim to be in the forefront of technology and as a skilled Automation engineer, you will take your place in the well experienced Automation team and enjoy a highly innovative working environment in Karlskrona; a state of the art manufacturing facility for manufacturing high voltage and extra high voltage power cables.
Your primary tasks will be:
PLC programming and electrical design
Developing automation solutions, big and small
Contributing to the development of routines and instructions for the automation development group
Attend innovation forum in automation
Attend in automation development group meetings
Documentation of machine changes
The projects you will be an asset in are mainly focused on automation development, but you will also work as an important support function to Production.

As a skilful PLC programmer with a creative solution-oriented approach, you thrive in a role where you're maintaining a high level of collaboration with your team colleagues as well as continuously learn new things.
You work closely with your team, sharing ideas and contributing to the technology with knowledge, experience, and new approaches.
To succeed in this role, you need be thorough and appreciate taking responsibility for your own work and its output. Your humble and empathetic attitude allows you to build and remain good relationships, for communication and exchange, not only in the team, but with other departments as well.
In addition to the above you have at the minimum 5-10 years of experience from working in the production or process environment and preferably the high voltage cable industry.
Fluency in English and Swedish is a must for this role, as communication is key.
Additionally, your CV comprises:
Either a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing or similar, alternatively additional years of working experience within the field.
Experience in PLC programs such as: Siemens and ABB, Citec Scada
A high level of self-motivation, curiosity and desire to learn about new technologies is a plus
Experience with machine safety and Industrial IT is meritorious
